Description: Today we're going to be showing you how I managed to get rid of hip dips last year and get a round butt (or at the least rounder butt) at the same time with a home workout for hip dips. As we discuss, we all have hip dips to a certain degree and anatomy is responsible for the basic shape and contouring of our hips. However, external factors such as our diets, exercise and posture can also affect the appearance of this area- this means that hip dips can be made worse to a degree based on different lifestyle choices. This also means that if hip dips can be made worse, they can also be made better by different lifestyle choices. Today we take you through my own journey with hip dips- from a point where I barely noticed them, to a point at which they got worse due to exercise related choices. I also show you how I managed to reduce hip dips and give you a 10 minute hip dip and round butt workout to help you do the same if you have the same problem. In short, STOP doing youtube hip dip workouts or any other workouts involving lots of 'HIP ABDUCTION' exercises if you have this problem. Examples include side booty workout, round butt workout and any other workouts that involves lateral leg raises, clams etc. These highly target the upper portion of the glutes and this can worsen hip dips if these muscles get too big for your frame. There is a sweet spot, and after that you may notice that your proportions change a little and hip dips may be inevitable. This is not a bad thing and may actually be preferred as these upper glute muscles help your booty pop from the side profile. Everyone has a different sweet spot for their frame and its up to you to decide what level of gains in this area you are happy with! The bottom line from us is that 'bigger is not always better' and this is one of the things that you learn later after years of training. What you tend to find is that you look better and feel happier if you accept your natural genetic frame, build and proportions and train to emphasise this as opposed to change this. Working with your body is the strategy we promote at Zygostatics and is also our philosophy when it comes to building our own physiques. Do note that this approach will only fix hip dips of one type- it won't fix all types of hip dips; it won't work for people who: 1) Have hip dips that have been worsened by excess body fat (love handles) 2) Have hip dips which haven't been worsened by muscle or fat- If you are relatively lean, don't really exercise and have had consistent hip dips for a while then don't worry! This is your basic frame and what you have is natural and mainly determined by your anatomy and genetics. As mentioned above everyone has a degree of hip dips and it's nothing to worry about. We focus on doing the best we can to naturally improve our physiques.
